		<description>As the Sun sets, it&#039;s reassuring (to me at least) that all the good software you mention here is now OpenSource (as well as just Open which Sun has always been, and I see as it&#039;s greatest strength).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have a lot of respect for Oracle and not much fear about them abondoning things. My main concern personally is the value of my Sun certifications! :)  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If Oracle do abandon pet projects (MySQL comes to mind, but I&#039;m not the COE or CTE...) we at least have the Freedom to fork and continue. Sure there will be pain, but the grass-roots spread far and fast on the Net.</description>
